Dr Oz FBCx Fiber For Weight Loss

On today’s Dr Oz show, he shared a cutting-edge fiber called alpha-cyclodextrin (FBCx) that can aid weight loss.

How FBCx  Helps You Lose Weight
- FBCx fiber binds to bad fats that you consume, thereby trapping them in your stool and preventing them from being absorbed by your body. This translates to lower calorie intake and may even protect your heart from the damaging effects of bad fats like saturated fat.
- FBCx reduces insulin and blood sugar spikes following a carb meal.

When to Take FBCx
Dr Oz suggests saving FBCx for when you really overindulge in a fatty meal. His recommended dosage is 2 grams with each fatty meal.

Since FBCx is a type of fiber, some people may experience some mild gastrointestinal side effects from taking it. Consult with your doctor before taking a new supplement.
